February 10, 2024 - North South Commuter Railway Rendering 3
UPDATED RENDERS FOR PNR NSCR PROJECT
The North–South Commuter Railway (NSCR), also known as the Clark–Calamba Railway, is a 147-kilometer (91-mile) urban rail transit system under construction in the island of Luzon, Philippines. Running from New Clark City in Capas to Calamba, Laguna with 36 stations and four services, the railway was designed to improve connectivity within the Greater Manila Area and will be integrated with the railway network in the region.
The North–South Commuter Railway will comprise two sections corresponding to the Philippine National Railways' old main lines. The first is the 91-kilometer (57-mile) fully-elevated PNR Clark which is being built over the mostly-defunct North Main Line in northern Metro Manila and Central Luzon. The construction of PNR Clark is further subdivided into two sections: the 38-kilometer (24-mile) PNR Clark 1 between Tutuban and Malolos, and the 53-kilometer (33-mile) PNR Clark 2 from Malolos to New Clark City. The second component is the 56-kilometer (35-mile)[88] PNR Calamba which will use the existing PNR Metro Commuter Line right of way between Tutuban and Calamba, which were historically parts of the South Main Line and will have elevated, at-grade and depressed sections.

"Get ready to embark on a journey like no other, as we explore the construction of the highly anticipated Metro Manila Subway Project in Valenzuela City. This groundbreaking project will connect Valenzuela to the rest of the metro and reduce travel time between the city and NAIA Airport to just 41 minutes. But that's not all, because the subway will also provide a faster and more efficient mode of transportation for commuters, with an estimated 519,000 passengers daily. Can you imagine the convenience? We definitely can't wait for the grand opening of the Valenzuela City station and the rest of the stations along the NAIA-FTI route. So mark your calendars and join us as we celebrate the arrival of the Metro Manila Subway to NAIA 3 and FTI Taguig, with seven new stations in between.
Let's make this a journey to remember, filled with thrilling adventures, vibrant cityscapes, and a glimpse of the future of transportation in the Philippines.
